Palm Beach Sydney
Palm Beach for many years was an outpost for artists and those escaping the city. Its distance from Sydney kept its natural beauty intact. But with an avalanche of over development that beauty is at risk. I tried to capture some of the area’s awesome power and serenity before this onslaught began. I doubt this old Palm Beach will survive much longer as money brings concrete mansions and a hatred of the natural world to this remarkable place, where a peninsular divides the Pacific from the still waters of Pittwater.
